EMO Grae and Zinoleesky Team Up on Emotional Anthem "How Come"
When two of the most distinct voices in the contemporary Afrobeats landscape link up, you already know the result is going to be special. EMO Grae has officially delivered his highly anticipated single, "How Come," and he brought along label mate and street-pop royalty Zinoleesky to create an absolute masterpiece.
If you are looking for a track that perfectly fuses vulnerable songwriting with a sweet, mid-tempo groove, look no further.
The Vibe: Romance Meets Emotional Realism
Produced by the brilliant Niphkeys, "How Come" is a beautifully layered Afropop record designed for the romantics, the heartbroken, and everyone in between.
The track dives straight into the complicated, often messy nature of modern relationships. Rather than offering a standard club track, EMO Grae uses his signature smooth, soul-stirring vocals to ask the hard questions about mixed signals and shifting emotions.
Zinoleesky complements him flawlessly. Known for his unique, high-pitched vocal texture and effortlessly catchy melodies, Zino glides onto the beat, adding a raw, street-tinted perspective to the heartbreak narrative.
Why It’s Dominating the Playlists:
- Sonic Chemistry: EMO Grae and Zinoleesky bounce off each other’s energy perfectly, making the transition between verses feel incredibly natural.
- Niphkeys' Touch: The production balances soft, ambient keys with a rhythmic drum progression that keeps your head nodding.
- Relatable Storytelling: The lyrics cut deep, capturing the universal feeling of wondering how come things changed so fast in a relationship.
"With 'How Come,' EMO Grae solidifies his status as a master storyteller, while Zinoleesky proves once again why everything he touches turns to gold."
Final Verdict
"How Come" isn't just a song; it's a mood. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a late-night drive or a quiet evening when you're caught up in your feelings. EMO Grae and Zinoleesky have given us a timeless record that proves Afro-fusion is at its best when it comes straight from the heart.
